TV show characters can be fun to name chickens after. For example, I have two hens named JJ and Reid(Criminal Minds). I also have a chicken named Camillie Clarice Cameron(Bones, friend wanted Clarice as a name, and House) or Cam for short.

Most of my named chickens were named for TV characters.

My first three are MaryAnn, Mrs. Howell, and Ginger (2 Jersey Giants and 1 Buckeye x Speckled Sussex).
My next two are Lucy and Ethel (Cochin x Speckled Sussex and Ameraucana x Speckled Sussex).

Then out of the batch of 15 from this spring, I've only named a few.

Oliver my Easter Egger rooster.
And I have three Blue Andalusians (2 gray and 1 black). I called them the Grays for the longest time (even the black one). Now they are Meredith and Lexie Grey and Maggie Pierce. Grey's Anatomy fans will get the reference.

Have not named my female EE, Barred Rocks, or RIRs yet.

I have three bantams. I named them after characters from my favorite childhood book series, Gregor the Overlanger and I think my next generation is gonna be named after another favorite, Keeper of the lost cities. My Nankin is named Aurora, my Japanese roo is Ares, and my Japanese hen is Luxa. I like the manes Fitz, Dex, Marella, Biana, Sophie, and Keefe for my next generation from KOTLC.
