i have six ameraucanas and their names are...
Gloria
Fritter
Dixie (chick)
P.I.T.A. (pain in the ...)
Paula Deen (she was the color of butter as a chick)
Piper

I think it would be funny if you named them Patty, salad, nugget ... get it?

6 barred rocks - we named 2 - 1 is Braveheart, she was the one who would fly to my shoulder and perch, first one to greet me, seems like one of the top hens. Another we named Rocket because she is always last to get into the coop at night and when we try to catch her, she is rocket fast!

6 RIR - we only named the runt, the others we call Red, my grand daughter called her "Fancy". Very sweet. A bit lost, has trouble walking but she's like a pet. We can hold her and she eats from our hands. She's more than 7 months old now, her sisters have been laying for about a month but she is not fully grown yet.

2 sex links my grand daughter named these two who were solid yellow as chicks "Rainbow". We call them the Rainbow twins. Very outgoing and friendly.

1 Easter Egger that looks like a Golden Wyandotte. She is called McNugget

We were given a blind RIR who only survived a few days. We called her Helen, after Helen Keller.

I dont have chickens i have guineas. they have finally named themselves.

Miss. Violet = Lavender female and Miss because she isnt married yet
Miss. Pearl = Pearl Female
Miss. Peggy = Lavender with Buff overtones, Lost a leg to a racoon.
Mr. Piedy = Pied Pearl Male
Mr. Little Bob = Large Pearl Male
Mr. Big Bob = Small Pearl male
And
PeeWee = Smallest Pearl male

Guineas pair off in the wild. these are what remains of a flock of over 40 I had tried to start this summer.....

I have five little girls: 2 Australorps - Mattie and Aida; 2 white Brahmas - Dolly and Blondie; 1 Ameraucana (I think) bantam - Lucille. My DH got them for me for my birthday.

, I was truly surprised and happy; he picked them out so I got to name them. The Australorps and Brahmas were 3-4 wks old and the Ameraucana was a few weeks older so much bigger. Now Lucille is the smallest, but still the "boss". We didn't know that Lucille was a bantam but love her just the same. It's so cute seeing a little chicken leading the bigger ones around, "rounding them up" when it is time for bed.

"Darth Vader" - Barred Plymouth Rock (Grandson named her)
"Speckles" - Speckled Sussex
"Cluck" - Golden Buff
"Peep" - RIR
"O.T" (Outer Limits) Silver Laced Polish (hubby named her)
"Elvis" - White Crested Blue Laced Polish
"Michael Jackson" or "M.J" - Black Australorp
"Down Under" - Black Australorp
"Delaware" - a Delaware (Could not think of a name)
"Silver" - Silver Laced Wyandotte
"Goldie" - Golden Laced Wyandotte
