Good afternoon everyone! I thought it would be cool to hear what everyone has named their chickens! It can be unique names, movie related, food etc. Can't wait to see what everyone says!

ALL my chickens but the ones I got from other people are named after food.

this is Rosebud (Rosie) and she was stolen in October. She was my head hen (12 lbs) a deleware

this is Mocha, she’s an EE and shes a little slow in the head

this is Cappachyno (she’s in the front) also an EE/ americauna

This is onion, she’s also a deleware. A bit nasty
sometimes.

these are the original four chickens from 2020
my next batch that I got was 6 chicks (3 passed annd they’re brahmas
- burrito
- olive
- munchkin

these 3 are still alive and doing great

This is butter. I think he’s a roo (much bigger than the other chicks at only 3 weeks) RSL and already has wattles coming on

This is sweet potato, she’s super skittish but loves to fly off my hands

this is berry, a sapphire gem. A sweetie

my next batch is from someone that was getting too old to Keep them

this is Little Man, a splash silkie. he’s super scared of me still but super sweet once you catch him. A little rude to the originals

this is Fluffy. She’s a bantam Cochin x something else
(little man and fluffy had a baby)

this is Bob Ross, their baby. She’s the best chicken ever hands down

We typically only name our roosters. Currently we have Rudy the Buckeye and Doug the Serama. When I used to have games chickens I would named the best ones after Mash characters

Chestnut
Butternut
Hickory Nut
Pine Nut
Coconut

I've already used Chesstnut (I like two Ss)
And butternut and cocoanut (I like the A)
But I like the name Pine nut, and I hanven't used hazelnut yet, or Hickory..

Mine were named after ladies in my family

Zora ( my bossy aunt! ) She's head hen! Name fits. Nosy, bossy, top of pecking order!

And black one is Aretha in honor of queen of soul. She's the sweetest, loves to be petted.the softest feathers ever?
