Chicken Names???

Hi Everyone!!!

I'm looking for chicken names...I like names with meaning, rather than names like "fufu" or "fringy" or whatever. I have 8 Rocks that i'm raising to be pets/egg layers, and I already named one Alice. I'll post which names I choose!! Thanks so much!!!

Just named our Buff Orp chicks Biscuit and Honey, due to their lovely blond feathers! We also have Gracie, Emily and Abigail that are EE's, and Ruby is our orange/red hen

Orphingtons- Twinkie and Fanny May

Isa Browns- Mrs. Brown and Nugget

Black Sex Links both males Jacky Chick and Chick Norris.

My favorite name for a hen is Eggnus.

I like going with a theme. All six of my chicks get M names. Muffy, Muncie, Martha, Marge, Midge, and Mildred.

We have Bessie (named by me), Awesomeness (named by my six year old) and Ms.Spiffywinkles (named by my 12 year old).

Well, Henrietta is a common hen name. I've always named mine interesting names. I've got some named after spices (Ginger, Nutmeg, Cinnamon) and some named after cartoon ideas (Merriweather and a dish of food from Looney Tunes, Hossenthedfur). Other names I like are Betty, Madie, and Sunshine.

I have 2 buff orpingtons named Rosie and Edith, and 2 EEs named Harriet and Charlie Brown (can you guess which one my 5year old named??) I pick up 2 silver laced wyandottes in a couple weeks and their names are Gloria and Gladys. Have fun naming your girls!!
