I got my results back from Texas A&M and what was previously suspected to be mareks by the lab directed ended up being something else. I think IBV but based off the report, what do y’all think?

I would interpret that as either an infection, or exposure to a respiratory irritant that led to a fatal infection, or a congenital respiratory defect, or even all three depending on age and other factors.

I called back and asked for clarification and they said they found nothing indicating infection or disease. They said it looked like she had an asthma attack or allergic reaction but there’s not enough studies done on chickens for a diagnosis of what would’ve caused it. So I’ll just accept that for what it is and hope my flock will be fine. No one else is acting weird thankfully.
