Hello we are new to the Alaska chicken scene. We could use all of the advice we can get. I moved here from Alabama and my husband moved here from Montana.

We are in Anchorage, Alaska. I was a member when I was in Alabama. I actually ordered eggs from a lady that raises quail.

Well then Welcome Back to BYC. If you check out the "The Old Folks Home," you will find my good friend Alaskan. He can tell you all you need to know about getting thru the winter - heartiest breeds etc. Plus he is just a real nice, down to earth person. PS you don't have to be old to participate in the thread. We have all ages - and all welcome.
