Chicken Newbie

Hi everyone! Hubby and I live in the Albuquerque area and are buying a home with an existing coop and flock. We are in the process of closing in about a month or so and I am so excited to be taking over the flock! However, I have no idea what kinds of questions I should be asking the sellers other than number of chickens, what breed and whether they’re egg laying or retired. What should I be asking? TIA for your help!
