Chicken not laying

Hi all,

We have three 8 month Sexlink chickens, one of them hasnt laid an egg for 4 days. They all look healthy and are eating, drinking free ranging. I wonder if anyone could tell me if this is normal or if I should be concerned.

Are they confined to a coop and run or let out to range in a larger area?

Hi thanks for your reply they are allowed to free range, they go in the coop at dusk and are out again at dawn into their run until they have laid, then I let them out to free range.

She may have found a better place to lay her eggs. I would start searching for a hidden nest.

I will go on a egg hunt now lol hopefully that may be it

Thanks. She's a great girl. I adopted this one when she was 4.5 years old. She'll be 6 in August. She is the 6th one I've adopted. Great breed.
