Chicken or Turkey

(This is my first post on here, sorry if it's long)
So about 8 weeks ago me and my dad bought a broad breasted turkey from Family Farm and Home because it was the only one there and the lady working there reeeealy wanted someone to take it. So we got it for 50 cents. But uh fast forward 8ish weeks and

this doesn't really look like a turkey to me
So I was wondering if anyone could identify if this is infact a chicken and if so what breed/gender it is

Not a turkey. She's a little pullet. (Young femal chicken. )

Looks like chicken !
I don’t know what breed but gender my best guess is female.
But since I don’t know the breed, I can’t 100 % about the gender.

She's a chicken, and does look like a she. And I don't think a meat bird either which a BB turkey is. Looks like you've got the opposite of what she told y'all the bird was, lol. As for breed, I'm not sure, but maybe someone can chime in who is. She's really pretty!

I'm relieved to hear that. The thought of lumbering 55 pound BBW eating 8lbs of per week was a terrifying thought

Lol I can imagine! My friend bought assorted turkeys after being told they wouldn't have mixed meat birds with heritage birds in the assorted bin. They did, and she's now got 3 BB bronzes to do something with.
