Chicken owner charged after shooting dog.

I used spell check on my post, used the wrong word, didn't miss spell it.

I just know what this poor guy is going through. I pulled up in one of my neighbors yard one day as his dog was lunching on one of my rabbits right by his front steps. When I informed him his dog had tore my rabbit hutch to shreds and pulled the doe off of her 3 day old litter which would all die with no mother, I was told I shouldn't be raising rabbits or chickens in this area since so many people had dogs running around!!!! Two days later I dropped the dog when he came back for seconds. SSS No one ever asked about what happened to the dog. The owner was warned but he showed me no sympathy so I showed none in return.

So no, I am not usually easy to offend but I really know how it is to deal with neighbors who think their dogs have the natural born right to run and chickens are below them and nothing but a nuisance some back woods yokel raises and have no place among civilized folk. I also don't like the gun crazed jabs from so called civilized folk.

For the record, I am a dog owner but I keep my girls in a kennel and they know what a leash is when out.

SSS is done to avoid potential problems from neighbors that feel that they should "get even" when something happens to Fido because they feel that Fido has the right to roam and cause other people problems.

I'm sorry you found it offensive. What I thought was funny was the metaphor/hyperbole that LizzyJo came up with. She must be very creative which I am not, so I appreciate things like that.
