Chicken passed away

Hey everyone we went outside just now and one of our chickens had passed away for seemingly no reason . They were all fine and happy earlier and there was no blood or evidence of a fight ? Is this common thing with chickens ?

I am sorry you lost a bird. Chickens are very good at hiding their illness symptoms, many times symptoms are so subtle they go unnoticed unless you are really tuned in. And of course birds can develop heart disease, just dropping over dead. How old was this bird?

Older then 2 but less then 3 , it the same type as my profile pic we have 5 ,well now 4

That's young for this breed of bird. Unless you had a necropsy done you may never know why she passed on. Sometimes we never know why.
