Chicken Photo Shoot

So I know everyone thinks their babies are the most beautiful, but my really are stinkin cute! I never am able to quite capture their true colors with my phone though. Here are some pictures I took this afternoon of Peep and Nibbles. I thought they were too cute not to share.

Peep: I just love the feathers on Peep's neck. Some of them have a tint of green and black that shine so pretty in the sun. And Peep loves being held like a baby. I think it's so strange.









Nibbles: Nibbles is a silly girl who isn't as affectionate and Peep, but she's still cute!

Is it normal for chickens to want to be held like babies? I don't remember why I turned Peep like that the first time, I was trying to check something, and she loved it. So now I hold her like that a lot and it is her favorite thing to be held and get her belly scratched. My other one, Nibbles, will let me hold her like that if I have to, but she doesn't think much of it. I thinks it's so funny how different they are.

Awww thanks so much. I want better pictures of Nibbles but she is harder to get.

I love the way the neck feathers do the 'sweep' and create that awesome layer look. They look superbly healthy.
