Thank you! We are "snowed in" in NC. I use that term loosely, so we are taking lots of chickie pictures

From what I've learned the past 5 months I've had him around (not a whole lot), they only do that crying woman noise that everyone hates during their breeding season & they aren't of breeding age until about 2yrs old. I can't remember the exact months, but I think their breeding season lasts from spring to the end of summer. Other than that, he's super stealthly & that's why he got named after a special forces character from my favourite show.

They are extremely curious & like to wander far to check things out, but it seems that if they find a place that offers good feed & protection they stick around.

Jaylin is a hen, @MedSchlFarmers , and a beautiful one, too! I'll share pictures, but there's no guarantee your little cutie will feather out the same. We've had EE chicks who looked almost identical and then turned out looking completely different from each other!
