@ChickenRunFun , she's simply adorable! I love my two CLs even though they're pretty flighty.

Something about that hair really makes me smile! While I'm at it, I might as well show off my "hair club."

Of course, this is minus Arlene, the other CL.

After about 5 months of watching my sisters chickens grow, I decided to buy some! I am now the proud owner of 2 Silver Laced Orpingtons, (1m, 1f about 4 mos old) they have their own pen now, but will soon go in with hers when they are larger.

Mem usually just chases Ody around now - they don't get into actual fights anymore (which is an improvement I can live with).

As days go by, though, the Phoenix seems more male than female...

Uh oh, Phoenix roosters can be mean! Hold him every day and hand feed if you want a chance at a nice one! Cute chicks!!!

Cobra and Viper aren't mean so far, but that could be because they're exhibition quality (I can't imagine that a judge would be able look an aggressive roo over). Actually, they're quite the opposite!

That would be Missy, one of the two Spitzhaubens.

Actually, the other Spitz is the lowest in the picture, preventing you from seeing her spangles.

Frindizzle it is a he and I think we are going with the name zoomer because he zooms around I wish I could get him in tape the way he puts his but up in the air just before you get pounced on.
