This is my chat thread, also known as a chicken picture thread! :D I love seeing other peoples wonderful chickens (and ducks, geese, turkeys, etc!!!). It's such a joy to have these wonderful birds around! Please join and share so many wonderful pictures!

I own a small flock of 3 Buff Orps and 3 Golden Laced Wyandottes. They are my babies and I would do almost anything to save them from danger!!
I will start with some random pictures.
This is where they live. The pic is from this past summer but it hasn't changed much since except that I store their food inside now after a raccoon came a feasted. Lesson learned.

Kiwi, a wonderful BO. :) This pic is also from the summer. She is a very good egg layer.

Dazzle, a well loved GLW. Also a great egg layer.

Hi! Here are some pics. This is Delilah all grown up, the chick in my avatar. I hatched her.

@cluckmecoop7 , I only free range when I can supervise. I did find out something interesting, when I got my rooster the hens never left the yard, but when I got rid of him they started to wander and they were all the way across town. Then when my little boy grew up and I let them out with him, they stayed in the yard. I don't know why, but thought it was neat. Thank you, I do think they're pretty. Yours are too.

Ok, I just wanted to know if they got some free time like mine because we both have a small(er) run and it's not nice to pen them up. :) This is Dazzle (front) and Melody (back).
