This is my first time hatching chickens and the first chicken that pipped did it on the wrong side. I don’t know whether or not to help it. Any suggestions?

Sorry to bother you again but I'm just worried if the chick will have enough air since it pipped on the wrong side and only broke the shell and not the membrane.
It will be fine, air can get through thst membrane no problem. I wouldn't worry about it. No bother 😉

Actually, we could take this a step further...

How big does that little pip hole have to be for him to count on the hatching rate to be somewhat safe enough to survive? (While he monitors it?)
