Chicken pluckers

We bought the machined part of the Whizbang from a guy off of eBay seller name of lira44. It came with the book, fingers, drum predrilled and the internals like steel shaft with welded flange holes already drilled, 1/4" aluminum disc predrilled, bearings...very nice. Hubby said it was well worth it! All you then need is a drive pulley, tensioner, a belt, a motor, switch, switch box, some wire and some wood for the frame. Hubby says the book is a no-brainer...an invaluable book--it takes away all guess work and well worth it. I would say we probably spent no more than $450 on it...well worth it when it plucked the chickens in 36 seconds!! So nice!!!

You could always rent it out to recoop some of the money spent in making it as well.

I am from Pierz. I haven't been to Northern MN much only to Duluth one time. I bet it is pretty where you are! I am not originally from MN but a transplant and all I hear from my DH is how beautiful it northern MN is. We do plan on doing some hiking and exploring this summer though.

I went out to craigslist after I posted my last comment and DID find a plucker but not what I am looking for and not near me either!
