chicken poop

I have just read all your remarks on chicken poop but cant seem to find an answer to my problem. I have just cleaned the out and found 3 beetroot coloured stains in their straw bedding. Wondered if anyone can shed any light on my queery?.

It is possibly just from something they ate. I've found poop to vary so widely in color and consistency that I don't worry too much about it unless I have some other reason to suspect illness. Multiple birds with consistent watery poop would also concern me, or seeing visible blood in the poop.

thanks for replying to my problem.I really dont think they have eaten anything beetroot colour and it seeemed like a stain rather than a poo.They seem health otherwise. thanks again.
