I saw her drinking about 5 mins ago. She is resting. I will cook her an egg here in bit and feed it to her.How old is she? Keep her warm if she seems to be chilling. Offer her some very wet chick feed with some warm water, and a small amount of cooked egg. If you have electrolytes or NutriDrench give a few drops of those. Try to get her drinking. The doxycycline can help treat MG. What dosage are you giving? The dosage I am finding is around 10mg per pound twice a day.
She is eating food I have in there for her now.I saw her drinking about 5 mins ago. She is resting. I will cook her an egg here in bit and feed it to her.
Her breath didn't have a smell to it.Separate her from your flock, preferably where they can still see each other but not touch. This could be a sour crop or a respiratory issue. When you had her mouth open, did you smell her breath, is it a neutral odor or does it smell fermented? How does her breathing sound when she's not being held? Is she rattling, does it sound labored, is she gasping? Is she sneezing, coughing or shaking her head? Are her eyes bubbly? Is she twisting her neck? Does she also have mucus discharge from her nostrils? How does her poop look? How does her tush look, clean, dirty, swollen or puffy, red. How about her vent? Pictures would be great as it helps to narrow down problems.
