I did it I did it I did it! I went through ads for free roosters and this guy is giving away 10 or so per MONTH. That was my frist call. He agreed to make a deal to call us first so we can always pick up all of them, process and 10 chooks in the freezer for one nice afternoon of work! I don't have to buy chicken again! Woot....!!!

Now to make another call so I can start canning/freezing chicken for the end of the WORLD. *dun dun dun*

I had to give my pullets and cockerels Tylan 50 injections last night. That was a first! I've never given an injection before and had to give 19 in one sitting. Another round tonight and tomorrow. I feel I tracked something into their coop (from a friend's farm) and infected them.
