Hmmm...I contacted him and he is interested in what my chickens will be laying, which isn't pure...Olive Eggers...I am going to have an OE roo , 2 blue egg layers , 1 OE and 1 Marans. Which won't give me a lot of eggs, but if he hatches me 6 chicks, NEXT year I'll have some to sell, either to him or others who are interested. Of course, I have to save enough for my family to eat. Maybe I better have him hatch me 12 chicks... OMG, chicken math is already striking and I don't own a single chicken yet

BIG hatch a-coming for me, although having problems getting my styrobator up to temp. I'll have to use it for overflow from the brinsea. Silly thing. I hate styrofoam bators!! I will have 36+ eggs to set and they won't all fit in the brinsea..

Up this time, all from BYC'ers - 14 Turken eggs (Woohoo!!! These are huge eggs!), 12 eggs from Lovins (not sure what those are yet), 6 light brahma, 6 SS and a few test australorp eggs - those I am picking up tonight. Plus I am throwing in a few pullet green eggs from my easter eggers crossed with my cochin roo just to see if anything comes out.. I really want those turkens - they took a ride in a mail truck but I can't think that would be any worse than traveling from Texas so we shall see.

Not sure what I will do if that styrobator doesn't heat up. Might have to go buy a tractor supply cheapie - I think my egg turner will fit in there also..

I sucked it up and put my order in for the Brinsea 380!!!

My Sebbie goose eggs came in today and so did a big ol' batch of Black and Blue Ameraucanas. I am so excited! This day feels like Christmas!
