Aspen...the Coronation Sussex are caged up for coop cleaning, so I snapped a quick pic. They are still quite young and will grow more...they are HUGE!

This spring I wrote an article for our local paper on raising chickens...it was published midsummer and got headline front page and ALL of the back page. Out of that the editor asked me to write a regular paid column. Other than my DH's family, a few of my friends, and the editor herself, I had not gotten feedback from the masses. When I was picking the kids up from school a parent stopped me and said she loved my article and it convinced her and her husband to start raising chickens!!!
