Second chicken swap of the month today after the twins make up soccer game. I will go prepared to come home with an amazing roo for my LF pen. I will get a chicken today!! I hope... And hopefully someone will take one or two of my extra Roos because three hens to five Roos is a bit much!!

Looking forward to hearing about your great find Jl, well we have woosed out on processing our last 3 roos.

Don't know why but I just felt we should wait till spring to do the deed, never had a problem doing it before.

but anyway we'll see. Looking forward to seeing what Mrs. Fluffy got...

and boy that is a pretty pics, Christe you did a great job. I love the pics of the hen sitting in the window getting warm, now she needs to turn around and warm her bottom and deliver the egg.

Aargh huh! Darn make up soccer game! We got there and almost everyone had left. Remainders looking to buy. The store owner bought one of my chicks and is holding the other two to sell for me or she'll take them too. So I'm down 3 birds and still have no buff orp roo for my girls!! Or I'd take a wheaten marans roo. Poppers! The owner did say shed keep a look out for me and due to popular request will hold another one in Nov. I may have to grow my own roo at this rate!!

Thanks! I'm still holding out hope I'll find one if not this fall maybe from a late hatch this year at next springs swap.
