I got my first Lavender Ameraucana egg out of my breeder pen today! They have been such slackers. There are 9 girls that are 6-9 months old. This is their first egg EVER. My DD is on cloud nine as some of these are her babies.

I am now getting about 8 or more eggs a day. Two short weeks ago I was getting ZERO! I have over 60 hens...we are going to be in trouble in a month.

Wow! That is a lot for 2 people. Do you sell the extras? I'm going to start advertising eating eggs again. I've had people after me for months.

Right now I just bring them to work. Next year I may sell some.
