lol I have four hens and two roos ( I know not the best ratio there ) and two parakeets as well... has been meaning to try and see if I can get the parakeets to multiply with-out too much enabling from myself... That way I can say that I did not intentionally make her broody...

Ummm...make that 3. A friend of ours makes THE best homemade wine. I've been saving a bottle he gave us this summer...gonna have some and attempt being creative.

Uh-oh the chicken fever has struck again ! Just talked to the breeder and I am driving an hour away on Saturday to pick up some baby chicks... and maybe a few two week olds. I am so excited can't wait until I can go pick up my barnevelders ! I say that I am just getting barnevelders.... but when I actually get there who knows what I might come home with

Same! Actually, I'm gonna be 14 in about 2 weeks... But I have 15 hatching eggs in the bator and 4 pullets already. And 2 keets. Or 1. One's my brother's, one's mine.

Hi Gamma, How are those eggs holding out??? I was so stressed out with them being in transit so long! I'm praying and have my fingers crossed.

Your parakeets are very niced. I used to have cockatiels and one of them I trained to whistle Amazing Grace! Amazing and he talked too!

Then I made a big mistake. I accepted a friend's cockatiels and he quit singing and whistling and talking to me!!! LOL

Well keep me posted on those eggs...Nancy

Can I get instructions on how to post auctions under my name? Is there a way to do that? I have three auctions going now and would love to add that info. I don't want it in my signature line, because that's where our breeds are listed....

The eggs are doing great! 3 of them seem to have become "quitters" (1 RIR, 1 BO, 1 BR) but the others are all healthy and I can see their eyes and their half-formed wings. 7 days till the hatch. Wait- I lied about all the others being perfectly fine. One is stuck to the egg turner. On lockdown day I'm gonna try taking it out from the bottom but if it doesn't come out I have a second incubator set up for it. I'll put the entire egg turner in it (unplugged, so it's just an egg holder) and hope that the little guy pecks free. Its a RIR. I suspect at least 10 from the hatch.

And about the auction listing... I'm sorry, I have no clue

Maybe you could create a website page with links to all the auctions and post that link in your signature?
