Oh, Gamma!!!

The same tempreture thing happened with mme, but 3 or the 12 made it

The instructions said to have it at like around 100. (This was last May so I don't remember

) I didn't have a fan, so I think it was off a bit.

I at least got my three babies!

It doesn't mean that all of your hatches will stink though: Don't give up on it!

Called a couples hatcheries to ask about the hatching. They told us that we should candle them again and look for veins inside the air sac. Didn't see any, and a lot of the chicks seem to have dropped out at day 13 or so.


On the bright side, (since the hatch wasn't going well...) Mom let me go to the feed store.

Thanks! They were the last 2 left at the feed store (except for that poor little BR pullet...) and they were taking a nap when I got them. Not happy to be woken up. I soon realized that Quinn likes to snuggle up to soft and fluffy things when she took a nap in my hair and kept trying to lay down under Aspen's belly (poor Aspen kept getting knocked over- she's smaller than Quinn). So I went to the garage and got the little stuffed fox that Aspen's leaning against in the picture.

chicken stalker - Haha Funny! I've Never heard of a single person ( other then the Aspen Tree and the little girl that I was named after when I was born ) that carried the name Aspen.

Mostly they just pooped on it, though.
