I went to a poultry show today. Now I want an OEGB pullet to show... too bad they're so flighty

Gamma, get one when it's young and spoil it and maybe it will be more tame. That's what I would do, a little spoiling goes a long way.

Every single Lavender Ameraucana hatched! A whopping 11!

1/1 Silver Ameraucana hatched.
2/2 Lav/Wellie (OE's) hatched.
3/3 BCM's hatched.
1/1 BCM/Am (OE) hatched.
The Lav/NH was a quitter around day 16 and the Buff Ameraucana died after pipping through the inner membrane (just like the Wheatie)

So out of 29 eggs, 27 went into lockdown and 24 hatched! Not bad for a cheapo bator!!!
