im a complete addict, i started off with three D'uccles went to the feed store to get their feed saw bantam chicks in the bin held off for 3 days then went back and got 7, lost three one night

so now i have 4 one week old chicks and want more and more and more one of each breed would be great

if only i was kiding

So a lady stopped by my house the other day...her and her kids bought a chicken coop for her DH for Father's Day and now they need some chickens. Here is the catch...they are only allowed 3!!! If I was to start over, knowing what I know now, I still couldn't narrow the search down to 3 chickens! I don't know which way to stear her. She needs a blue egg layer, and chocolate egg layer and a what? Silkie? Or, Orpington? Or, JG/Isa Brown mix????

3 chickens. I can't imagine having so few!

I vote Orpington. I don't care HOW small a flock one has, there's gotta be an Orpington in it!
