I'm sorry to hear about your roo, I love my roos too, It's such a shame when they come in and take out birds when they are only trying to survive too, must not be much wild game for them to be so brave.

No, we've lost alot of our rabbits, mice, snakes, etc to the heat this year. Therefore there is no prey for the coyotes, bobcats, etc.

I feel so awful!

We just had a electric-co. man come out here, and while he was here talking to us, Milo, our border collie comes up to him and wets on is pants!

Stupid dog! I felt so bad!

While he was here he tryed to buy my peachicks...no way!

I went to check on the incubators and I looked inside the HB and saw a Guinea egg that was PIPPED!! WooHoo! I quickly put it, and the other two Guinea eggs that are supposed to be in lockdown in the Brinsea. Keep your

I thought the same thing. By the time I got there you wereoffline again! Busy day.

Yes, she has four eggs under her, or she did. Apparently by the time I got home one of her fellow coop mates decided she wanted in on the broody action and kept trying to steal the JBs eggs. It was actually quite funny to watch, but maybe they'll take turn sitting so they can get off to eat and walk around a bit.

I also have two new layers in my LF pen! One of the eggs is huge and looks like a torpedo. I took a pic but will have to load it at work since I can't here at home. I'm wondering if it could be a double yolker? I keep trying to come up with something I could make using eggs tonight so I can crack it! Soon I'll have eggs coming out my ears!

Keets are fun! Watching them run backward is... well, one of the most unusual sights I've ever seen! Made me doubt my eyes at first. Guineas make an infernal racket but I love them anyway.
