She is now officially my hero!! I think in her place I would've tucked tail and run for DH yelling "Grab the gun! Grab the gun!" Then I would've waited inside!

Long time no post ladies and few gents.
Its been crazy on the farm, you know those large versions of what you have, lol. My Cria was killed accidentally by some teenagers with herbicide treated grass from the roadside. Now those kids are working as punishment on the farm in the afternoons and saturdays for awhile. Had a cow and mother llama get sick too but they made it just fine.
Have over 400 chickens now with the younger 200 growing fast. Having a nice but simple chicken shelter built in a four way split ten acres pasture section, near the house. (Will ad diagram)
Sold all my Angus and added 50 Sheep and a few rams. They are Katahdin and some Dorper crosses with a few BF Dorper Rams.

For one thing he hasn't eaten a meal in about 3 days...I but ya he comes back up to the yard looking for another pea-snack. Hopefully, he'll get his rear-end caught in the trap and in the morning..he will be history. Or...I could cook him and feed him back to the girls for a sweet revenge! *inset evil laugh*

He keeps coming up here 'cause the animals are fat and easy to catch, there is water out, and there is nothing to eat out in the pasture...

Last year I had to coyotes that would come up to the barn WHILE I WAS FEEDING and would be waiting for me to let out my chickens!

Wait a sec, don't you have dogs?

Well, folks, you may have to kick me out of the thread. three times in a row I've been to chicken swaps and no chickens have come home with me!! (well, except the ones I took to sell, but no big shock as they are Roos) ... Very sad. But there is always next week's swap, right??

Hahah, she thinks im already loopy I don't know how should could handle all of us.

. I'm glad someone sold the chicks they wanted to sell. I came back home with both the roo chicks I took to the chicken swap. Didn't really expect to sell them since I didn't have any hens with them, but figured I'd give it a shot.
