. I've been mixing the yogurt with strawberries & cream instant Quaker oatmeal for breakfast and eating it cold. It's yummy and I like the consistency. This morning I ran out of time and had to do plain vanilla

How's your hatch coming along? Didn't you have some eggs going recently?

No.

I had one Black Jersey Giant hen, Black Beauty, that was almost naked, but thankfully she grew her feathers back in recently and will hopefully start laying when I put lights in their coop.

I have quite a few that would probably enjoy so time by our wood stove, one of my Brahma hens is so pitiful she looks like a plucking gone bad.

I've been researching probiotics and yogurt, and about the only way to have yogurt in a hot dish and still keep the probiotics is to add the yogurt at the very end of the cooking process. So baked custards and hot puddings are pretty much out. I'm wondering if you could mix yogurt with an instant pudding mix and have it be worth eating? I must try that sometime.

Can't wait to see the family photo!! Chicks are soooo cute when still fluffy!

Now I'm hungry! The baked custard and hot puddings sound soooo good right now... Too bad they'd just taste good, but I could probably live with that.

No bobcats, but we have wild hogs coming up to the house again!

We already caught 10 of them. They were coming up to the Quail House and rooting around the backyard. Of course, our dogs were so brave...sound asleep on the back porch.

Best guard dogs you could ask for. *sigh*

WOOHOO!! My 48 ft. trailer was delivered this morning..or actually about 10 minues ago!! Yeaha!! This thing is HUGE!!
