Chicken problem

Hi there.
Has anyone out there in the chicken world, ever had there chickens just stop laying for no particular reason. Their healthy chickens there not old and have all laid eggs before. Then the last 2 weeks now eggs??????

Are they molting?

Molt, broodiness, changes in food or environment or predator pressure can all affect laying.

If you are in the northern hemisphere, shorter days often slows or stops egg production before winter.

Are they molting?

No. It's so weird one day they were laying and they all just stopped. Do you think it's the lack of rain? They have there water containers but no rain for awhile.

Where are you located? I don’t think a lack of rain would effect laying unless it was also really hot.
