I've been hanging onto this fabric for a couple years now waiting for the right project to come along to do something with it. I got it because it was the only fabric I could find at the time that had a Farmall tractor on it. (I made DH a pillow with it) The fabric unfolded all the way measures 44" wide and 61" long. Would that be enough?

Yes, that will make a great purse!

Send me that fabric LOL

Did you see my Case fabric?

I'd also love to see step by step - I'd like to have a go at a patch work type purse once I've gathered up enough pieces from my quilt blocks. I might to a rag style purse, I'm not sure yet - it also might be pretty darn small.

Do you use a differnt fabric for lining? Like something silky?

What kinda press do you use for the snaps?

I either use a matching print or a muslin that matches the color of the fabrics in use.

My fingers.

The ones I make are from my own pattern but you can find tons of free patterns or buy a simplicity 99 cent one and make great bags.
