Actually it may be 2 people.

I've sent out PM's and emails to both. If I don't hear back by the end of the week I'll pull them off.

Coyote, let us know the update on how many blocks to make

since there will be less people. I made two of mine last night, and the first one was kinda sloppy, so I'm gonna keep going with them. The distraction is helping me. Hopefully the more I make the better at applique' I get.

I have never appliqued before and I would like to try one first before I commit to joining. My DH has a Dr.'s appt. tomorrow and then we have a funeral to attend Friday, so I will try to applique one Saturday. Wish me luck.

Lots of Luck! You will like applique. I don't "piece" very well, (none of them ever come out the same) but with applique I'm able to make all kinds of "pictures" and patterns. I've made a lot using my own designs.

ETA--pictures. All of these are of my own designs.

What do ya'll want to do? Should we cut it off at 12 people and each do 12 blocks? (I still haven't heard back from the other 2 people)

If Leepsy joins us that would be 11 and I could maybe do another set of 12 (maybe 6 and somebodyelse 6??!!)

OH MY! Those are super! I've made 24 blocks - they are ready for machine stitching. I'm an "assembly line" lady, so I'm doing all the black stitches, then the reds, and so on. I don't mind keeping the extra ones, but it would be really great to have more variety. Love to all my fellow stitchers, Caroline:frow
