OOOOOOOOOOo Chickie in Kimones!!!

I'm trying to decide if I'm going to use batiks to make my 2nd set of chickens.

I found some Christmas fabric that I still had that I'll be using for my backgrounds in the Holiday CHicken swap.

My washer is going nonstop these days washing fabric!!!

After realizing I couldn't remember which fabrics I had washed, I decided to wash them as soon as I bring them home so I don't have to rack my brain trying to remember.

Speaking of kimonos, on that fatcat website, they have a section with oriental patterns. I just love the little kokeshi dolls and I plan to make a wall hanging with some of those patterns. http://www.fatcatpatterns.com/oriental.htm

I am afraid my Christmas chickens will have the same fabrics as the Christmas block swaps I was in. I just hope its enough.

You can just do greens and reds with little bitty prints too. Those will work. Christmas colors doesn't really mean they have to be made of Christmas prints. I'm looking at some bits of bandana looking fabric for combs, lol.
