Chicken Quilt Block Swap---BLOCKS ARE IN THE MAIL!!!

I'm working steadily at Chicken and Stars; one color at a time to circle around and then just a few each evening. Rooster should take less color changes and get done more quickly. Har de har har!

Thought you guys might want to see my other projects. I am so totally captivated by this !!easy!! applique. Caroline

The shirt is full size. I reduced the pattern for the bag - it came out to about 9 1/2" square.

I'm looking at reducing a couple of the blocks down too. Thinking of making wall hangings for my moms kitchen door. One each for the different seasons. She collects roosters.

Dear Acre, I've been meaning to tell you how much I love your signature - so true! I've always hand appliqued and have been somewhat of a snob regarding the sewing machine. But .... this is so easy and so quick!

I made a quilt for my granddaughter just recently. It was so "butt ugly", that I did not want to spend months hand quilting. I took it to a machine quilter and had "Ashley Claire" quilted all over it in silver thread. I call it her Susan Boyle quilt - a wonderful surprise from something that did not appear to be such. Now, when she has sleep-overs, she and her friends can find her name in the quilt.

I got 2 packages in the mail today. Saddina and Tonya. I haven't opened them yet because I've been working in the yard and I've got, ah, I'm not sure all of what I've got all over my hands, lol. Will check them out tonight after I get a shower.

Would you believe that I am actually running around in a tank top and shorts?!! It's gonna snow next week you just wait and see!!
