Chicken rescue needed - Colorado

Hi! I needed to skip the "New Member Introductions" for now, but will complete it once
I figure out how to.

In the meantime, I am in need of a Hen rescue here in Colorado that is recommended
to either locating great homes for these adorable creatures or they live at that rescue.

I'm looking for a rescue that doesn't eat or adopt the hens out to be eaten.

Any ideas? Need to solve this in the next few days.

Welcome to Backyard chickens Sue, sorry but I don't know of a chicken rescue in your area. Sometimes animal shelters take them in for adoption. Or maybe they could recommend someone for you.

I live in Colorado. Unfortunately, I do not know of any hen rescue shelters around. But then again, I haven't been on the lookout for one. I would just google it and see what pops up. Sometimes, large animal shelters rescue chickens so that might be worth looking into as well. Also, you might try looking on craigslist. Lots of times that website has lots of people searching for homes for their birds.
