KFC stood up to rotate the eggs on his side.

(Snow isn't his daughter, she's from a small farm about five miles away.)

"Do you usually help the hens brood their eggs?" Cloud asked KFC curiously. "'Cuz Snow-"
"-storms are frequent her and the hens might need protection!" Flower cut in hurriedly. She could tell Snow didn't want to tell anyone about the mystery father of the fertile eggs.

timeskip like maybe an hour

"So, Snow," Cloud said, "do you like any of the roosters at the coop? Cuz maybe the reason your eggs are fertile is... you know..."
"I still have a rooster waiting for me back at my own home. He's brave, and kind, and he was nearly killed for trying to fight the human after they took my chicks... I really should get back to him, it's not fair for me to leave him behind... but I like life here..."

luna ran over to the chicks, (flower and cloud)
"do you want to play hide and seek?" Luna asked "I haven't got much else to do ever since KFC helped Cherry with her nest."

KFC clucked softly to the eggs and Cherry.

buck has a very big coop luckily because there are many to be born soon. Buck can't help the ladies sit he has to much work to do, but Buck admires KFC for helping the hens.

"Hide and seek?" Flower said, looking hopeful.
Cloud shot her a glare, and whispered, "Let me take care of this. Ahem," Cloud began, trying to sound as grown-up as she could, "um, Luna, we'd really like to play with you and everything... but... we're very busy, you know. We have lots of important stuff to do. But... well... since you're so insistent, um, maybe a few rounds wouldn't hurt." Then she whispered to Flower, "We can't have everyone thinking we're still little chicks! Act more grown-up!"
Flower ignored Cloud and peeped to Luna, "You're It! Count to twenty!" Then both chicks ran off.

"1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 um 10 20 here i come!" then Luna ran off to find the chicks.




KFC rotated the eggs on his side of the nest, while clucking to Cherry "when do you think they'll hatch?" KFC then lowered his head close to them to listen for chirping.
