Love this set up!! Do you toss the poop or use it for compost?

I have a three bin composter, when the first bin is near full I sift the 3rd bin into sacks as it's ready and move the other to over one bin.

This is the last bin.

Pretty nifty!! I appreciate the videos. We are trying to decide on compost- where do you keep this at? & how’s the smell?

I keep it in the chicken yard and let the hens dig in the last one. No smell at all. In bin one I add sawdust or leaves to each layer and toss in any kitchen scraps and coffee grounds.

an old-timer told me to use 2x4 or 2x6 or trex or pt. they will sit on their feet so that their toes dont freeze. do a poop tray !!!! mine is covered with fencing so they dont walk etc in it.

Basically same mind of wood pellet people use for wood burning stoves and live stock. Less dust than wood chips

I think of it as get sawdust wet, compress it into pellets, and flash dry it. When it gets wet it turns back into sawdust.
