Chicken Roost

Ok I Have 49 rir chickens 7 weeks old i build them a roost today and i just check it at 11:00 pm and the was only 10 on the roost what is the other rir problem is it they are sticking there nose up at my work the others are all together on the floor what do i need to do

If it is your first night, be happy you have 10 on it. They will all pick it up eventually. I am still trying to get all mine on their roost, they want to perch on the walls and poop all down them....

they are young, mine didn't really start roosting till 12 weeks.
