Chicken roosts

This became a roost by accident, I really wanted to find a natural branch, but I put this up to brace the walls after some retrofitting, and now it's there roost.

I'm seeing how my little ones manage to create their own roosts too. Quite ingenious of them.

I have 2 roosts in our little coop we have one is a 2 by 2 square and the other a round garden stake we have stuck through the wire. The round one in not near as stable but they always use that one and never sit on the square shaped one. ???
