"Yes sir," Bootsie said, "But, what about the other enemy flocks?"

Just then, his father, Bo, strutted over: "Hey Jerry," Bo said, "when do you plan to head out to that cornfield?"

"Not sure- we need to devise a plan first and get a few more hens. But hopefully soon- the humans are running low on good food and I heard them say they were gonna feed us only on bird seed for the next few months... We know how boring birdseed is!"

"Anyways... I better rest. We'll have a long day planning our adventure tommorow!"
*jerry climbs into the coop, and sits in the nesting box to sleep since he can't roost after his leg injury*
