eragon saw a black rooster walking up behind Rakia and started backing away not sure if that was raven or not "i-i-is tha-at r-r-raven?" he said in a shaky voice raven looked really big if that was him

The rooster raised a brow. "Yes. I am Raven. Who are you?" His multiple spurs gleamed in the sun, as he always found a way to sharpen them during the day.

"um... I am eragon I would like to join your flock if you would allow it" he said "rakia and fly told me that you would want to meet me before I joined your flock"

"Are you a warrior or healer?" Raven circled around Eragon like a shark.

raven looked so bic compared to him and raven had so many spurrs eragon did not have spurrs yet because he was only about 10 months old.

"uh... I am a healer I have had to tend to myself several times because other animals have attacked me so I had started living in trees for protection until fly found me"

noticing that raven was clearly evaluating him he stood up taller and raised his tail so raven could see him better.

"Tahir!" Raven called into the bushes. A large Brahma rooster rushed out.

"Yes, Raven?" Tahir answered.

"I want you to test this healer. If he passes your test, then he will join the flock." Raven said.

"hello tahir nice to meet you" he said this rooster looked huge also eragon started to wonder how many roosters were in this flock.
