What does everyone have at the bottom of their run? Right now i have dirt, looking to change it soon. It smells and looks messy! Thanks!!

I have grass, dirt, and some straw

I have dirt and some straw. The chickens ate all of our grass.

I have hay in my run used to have grass but the chickens ate it all so i covered the dirt with hay.

I have a moveable run, so I move it every few days to give them fresh grass regually. If it was a fixed place run, then I would use wood/bark chips or gravel.
