Chicken run

And iam not talking about the silly film haha - now that was a lame joke! we currently have a nice little setup in the garden with no threat from foxes and I have found a fruit cage the perfect size for my garden that I wanted to use as a run and maybe protect from domestic cats. Do u reckon this would work?

How big is the fruit cage and how many chickens do you wish to house in it?
Will they be in there full time?
Never had a cat take an adult chicken, they would probably go after chicks though.

It's 1.3w 4m deep and 2m high and we have 3 hens. It's only to be used if we go out. The rest of the time they have the garden to themselves. I want to protect from a cat as our cat took one from our Flock
