Chicken Saddles??

I've got velour if you want some 'ooh la la' saddles

Has anyone ever tried a saddle-type thing to help cover bare chicken bottoms? I have separated my flock into two coops/runs to give everyone more space, but many of the girls have bare bottoms from the others picking feathers out (while in the nestboxes or on the roost, I suspect).

Any ideas?

I wouldn't mind having a few of these. I have a bit of a sausagefest going on here. $5 sounds like a great price to me. I'm PMing you.

I just meant 'girly' saddles. Not porn star outfits. LOL

Chickens with tramp stamps, or chicken dressed like ho's, or fish net stockings for chickens....now that would be a sight...
Naaahhh, I'll stick with the purple canvas saddles I'm making for now, no other accessories yet. I am going to see about making quite a few of them. If they turn out good enough, I'll take pics and offer some on here. We'll see how it goes? I have lots of other material too, stiffer fabric like denim and canvas works better to keep from slipping and to cover the bare "backside". I think $8 is reasonable too....depends on what I end up using and I have flat rate envelopes for shipping.

Hey, we may even try seasonal saddles! Holiday saddles, Fall saddles, etc!
