In the cornbread cupcakes you could use bacon fat instead of butter, the chickens will LOVE IT and bacon fat works almost exactly the same way as butter does for most things.

Update on this: Friend insists that Clementine, the bride to be, must lay an egg to 'become a woman' before being married There will be less walking down the isle than there will be: taking bride and groom out of run, keeping them in place with treats, saying some vows,then serving everyone cake.
