After a battle with what seems to be a relentless case of Coryza in most of my flock, I'm throwing in the towel and closing it. I haven't gotten so much as an egg in a week, down from a minimum of 7 per day 3 wks ago. They're dropping weight from eating less. I'm in the process of building a new coop and I've just decided that I should not move this flock into it for the sake of keeping it disease free. Time to start over.... [IMG]

Now my question is that after treating them with Sulmet, is there a protocol for assuring that the meat is safe? Or is it fine anyway? The only warning on the bottle is regarding egg consumption in Broiler hens....

There is a 10 day withdrawal time on meat.

    Good luck.
