After a battle with what seems to be a relentless case of Coryza in most of my flock, I'm throwing in the towel and closing it. I haven't gotten so much as an egg in a week, down from a minimum of 7 per day 3 wks ago. They're dropping weight from eating less. I'm in the process of building a new coop and I've just decided that I should not move this flock into it for the sake of keeping it disease free. Time to start over....

Now my question is that after treating them with Sulmet, is there a protocol for assuring that the meat is safe? Or is it fine anyway? The only warning on the bottle is regarding egg consumption in Broiler hens....

There is a 10 day withdrawal time on meat.

Good luck.
