Sorry I'm only just answering! I never got any alerts for this thread so I thought it was dead
Thank you, we're not completely sure whether she's an Easter Egger or Amerecauna, and we got very mixed answers. But whatever her breed is, we still love her.

I'm Peter Roo I show my girls how not to get a drink from the open top waterer by falling in and nearly drowning in the dead of winter. I'ts ok though my humans rescued me and brought me in to blot me dry on their own clothing while warming me up then holding me for the heater to blow dry my belly that wouldn't dry out. It was all cool till they decided it was a good photo op.

Oh yeah he is fine and I'm glad because he is a very good alert roo. He isn't like jump in your lap cuddly or anything but since his near death experience he lets us get alot close and has a "softer" look when we are around now. Maybe I'm imagining things but I think he is actually grateful. Either way he is a beautiful and good roo glad we were able to save him he was very close to death when the wife found him and brought him in.

oh yeah that waterer has a slanted top on it now too. Crazy chicken lady didn't think of it right off and I would have but I was laid up when she brought it home and set it up. Close call and a good save.
